Job description & Job responsibilities
We are looking for a buyer for our purchasing team, the buyer is accountable for budget, quality, delivery, and long-term assurance of supply objectives.
Responsibilities:
Initiate and facilitate LTA’s with strategic suppliers.
Issue purchase orders based on organizational targets and requirements.
Work closely with R&D, Project managers and NPI to Support new product.
Work closely with the supply chain to support existing products
Deliveries follow up based on shortages report and execution statuses.
Effectively manage supplier selection to meet quality, service, delivery, cost, risk mitigation, and supplier capabilities to meet requirements.
Implementing the Purchasing organizational and individual objectives such as prices reduction, FTK, yield improvement, replacing suppliers, and demanding quality and performance improvement plans from suppliers. (Effectively lead continuous improvement projects such as alternative materials or new processes for cost reduction, yield improvement etc.)
High intercompany communication – R&D, engineering, planning, and finance
Assess and evaluate suppliers to manage performance improvement activities (QBR, monthly ratings etc.)
Manage and maintain Purchasing database, such as: Preferred vendor, MOQ, LT, Price list etc.
Job requirements
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

- Ability to work methodically and punctiliously.
- Proactive, initiative, and motivated personality.
- Ability to read and understand drawings
Requirements:
At least 3 years buyer experience in an industrial company (CNC, Sheet Metal)
Professional background related to Manufacturing
ERP experience – Priority – advantage
Excellent communication skills
Good level of English
multi-tasking ability
Excel- Very high level, other simulation tools – advantage
