Linear NUC Shutters

Nanomotion’s S787 series of NUC shutter is designed to meet the most challenging operating conditions of infrared imaging systems. The S787 shutter operates linearly with a direct drive EDGE motor, providing the lightest weight configuration while maintaining the closest proximity to the FPA. The S787 series is provided with a 17mm x 15mm leaf that is capable of moving 15mm in 100mseconds. The moving blade is supported by the Edge – Actuator bearing structure on one side and an outboard shaft bearing to eliminate any blade deflection and vibration.
