Job Description:
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for Material Planning, Inventory Management, Strategic and tactic Purchasing, with well knowhow in Logistic, Import/Export and Warehouse Management, leading and instructing teams, and developing the supply chain methods and tools needed by NM Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the teams by developing Material Planning, Strategic/Tactics purchasing methods.
- Support with Production Planning, Logistics, Import/Export, and Warehouse activities, providing tools and generate new reports for day-to-day activities.
- Analyze Material demands by ERP for Orders, Blanket orders and forecasting.
- Generate employee’s performance.
- Escalation – Communicating with suppliers in Israel and abroad for any issue according to the work plan, Quality, or supplier performance.
- Work with Sole/Single suppliers to establish MSA (Manufacture Service Agreements) to secure continues supply for company build plan.
- Determining the required materials and generate purchase orders according to the MRP recommendations.
- Determining the required customer orders and approve to generate working orders according to the MRP recommendations.
- Tracking production volume and monitoring with Sales Admin customer demand patterns to manage incoming of materials.
- Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.
- Managing inventory KPIs’ and objectives, such as: shortages, levels and turns, safety stock, Kanban plan, schedule changes, warehouse efficiency.
- Managing Purchasing and Supplier performance KPIs’ and objectives, such as: TTI purchasing demands, Shorten Supplier lead time, Reduce Supplier delivery risks, Continuity, OTD, Flexibility.
- Minimize obsolete stock and ensure business is left with minimum liability.
- Manage inventory randoms/cycles/annual checks to validate inventory accuracy.
- Create regular statistical reports and analysis according to KPI’s.
- Lead and develop other staff members functions if required.
- Actively contribute to the development and support of material planning and purchasing processes and benchmark against best practice and review ways to make continuous improvements.
- Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, etc.
- Liaising with operations, manufacturing, Engineering and Quality.
- Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on production schedule and customer shipment.
- Stocktaking of NM stock at sub contractors’ sites.
- Support to performing periodical reports (supplier evaluation, KPI, Open PO).
- Implementing the Purchasing department tasks (deriving from ISO, discussion summaries).
- Supporting NPI (New Product) demands and engineering changes (based on released demands).
Job requirements:
- B.Sc in Industrial/Logistic Engineering – Must.
- Proven work experience as a Material Planner or a similar role in the production department for a minimum of 3 years- Must
- English – high level – Must.
- Excellent computer skills in basic MS Office applications especially XLS – Must.
- Work experience in the semiconductor industry – Advantage.
- ERP experience – Must, Priority System – high advantage.
- Excellent communication skills.
