Open Position: Physicist
Position Summary
:
·
Physicist capable of providing technical support for research and development efforts in accurate optical motion systems. This position will require ingenuity, creative thinking and the ability to solve challenging problems. Background experience requires a broad general knowledge in such areas as optics, electronics, mechanics, software, and controls to investigate proof of concept experiments as well as support prototypes and final commercial products.
Requirements
Education/Experience
:
·
Master's degree or higher in related field
·
Minimum of three years of industry experience in the development of optical systems.
·
Experience with IR systems is advantageous
·
Experience with vacuum and cryogenic systems is advantageous
Responsibilities/Skills
:
·
Experience, education and skills with regard to production processes and materials for optical systems as well as vacuum and cryogenic systems
·
Must possess a strong multi-disciplined background including mechanics, optics, electronics, SW and control, with the ability to generate new concepts and ideas as well as to lead R&D projects.
·
Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude and work well in a team environment.
·
Must possess the ability to apply creative problem solving skills to complex problems

Open Position: Experienced Electrical R&D Engineer
Position Summary:
The candidate must demonstrate creative skills in a dynamic environment together with excellence, professional and hands-on engineering attitude and is expected to participate in the development of multidisciplinary products involving mechanical, electrical and control design.
In addition, the job requires the following:

Start to finish execution responsibility for electrical design, including: requirements assessment; concept formulation, written specifications, simulate, design, component selection, PCB and FPC layout supervision, system integration and testing
·
Lead and support project team, to monitor performance and identification of development needs as well as leadership towards professional execution
·
Guide and support work on service provided by external consultants and subcontractors
·
Overall responsibility of specific projects: plan, follow-up, report and control, delivery of agreed objectives
Education/Eperience:
·
B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering. An additional P.E. degree - preferred
·
5+ years of relevant work experience
·
Experience in board design both in analog and digital circuits
·
Experience in laboratory and test methods, test problems and results diagnosis
·
Familiarity with schematics and simulation programs (e.g. Orcad and PSPICE)
·
Familiarity with power electronics
·
Self-motivated with outstanding interpersonal skills in both internal and external teams
·
Hands-on attitude and pursuit of excellence in Electrical engineering and general conduct
·
Effective verbal and written communication
